What we collect
The Helle Kroa website is a simple information site. We have no contact form, no user registration and no online ordering. We do not collect personal data from visitors ourselves.
Third parties
We use a few services provided by others, which may set cookies or process technical information such as your IP address when you visit:
- Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) — used to understand how many people visit the site, which dishes are popular, and how many click our phone number. Loads only if you accept in the consent banner. IP addresses are anonymized by Google. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Maps — used to display a map of Helleveien 177. Google may receive your IP address and set cookies.
- Google Fonts — used to load the Fraunces and Inter typefaces. Google may receive your IP address.
- Netlify — our hosting provider. Netlify logs technical request data (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and operations. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Cookies
We set one cookie of our own — hk_consent — which
remembers your choice in the consent banner for one year. If you
accept analytics, Google Analytics also sets its own cookies
(typically _ga and _ga_*). Embedded
services such as Google Maps may set their own cookies when the
page loads. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any
time.
Phone orders
When you call us to place an order, we process your name, phone number and order details only for the brief time it takes to complete and deliver the order. We do not store this information afterwards.
Your rights

Changes
We may update this privacy policy when needed. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
